Scalloped Potatoes with Sour Cream RecipeYou should never doubt that if you put a dish with Scalloped Potatoes and Sour Cream on the dinner table, it will be gone before you return.  Everybody loves Scalloped Potatoes.  And a scalloped potato with sour cream…Well I think I have said enough.

How To Make Scalloped Potatoes


INGREDIENTS
8 medium potatoes. Wash them but don’t peel them. Slice them thin. (Go to Wal-Mart and for $15 or less you can get one of those infomercial slicers/dicers/do everything under the sun machines. They really work and the cool thing is that you can slice thin and all slices will be the same thickness which leads to even cooking times.)
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
2 cans, cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
1 onion, chopped, precooked (saute)
1/4 cup melted margarine
1 cup Cornflakes
DIRECTIONS
Mix the following ingredients together: potatoes, one cup of the cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cooked onion
Place in a casserole dish
In a 350F oven cook for 45 minutes (uncovered)
Mix together the 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese, margarine, and cornflakes. Top off the potatoes with this mixture
Return to oven and cook for an additional 1/2 hour (uncovered)
